🚨 Hiring: L2 Deskside Support Engineer 🚨

Introduction:

We are seeking an experienced L2 Deskside Support Engineer to support a fast-paced Financial Services environment through Cognizant (CTS).

Responsibilities:

  • Provide onsite desktop and deskside support for front-office and business users
  • Deliver VIP/white-glove support to senior stakeholders, executives, and investment teams
  • Troubleshoot Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, VPN, networking, and Citrix/VDI environments
  • Support desktops, laptops, multi-monitor setups, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals
  • Manage incidents and service requests through ServiceNow, Jira, or similar ITSM tools while meeting SLA requirements
  • Support onboarding/offboarding, device imaging, hardware deployments, asset management, and endpoint configuration
  • Coordinate with infrastructure and application teams to resolve high-priority technical issues
  • Maintain accurate ticket documentation and contribute to knowledge-base articles
  • Support collaboration tools, remote access, and secure user connectivity

Requirements:

Required Skills:

  • 4–8 years of Desktop Support / Deskside Support experience
  • Strong Windows Desktop and Endpoint Support expertise
  • Microsoft 365, Active Directory, VPN, Networking, and Citrix/VDI
  • Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, or equivalent ITSM tools
  • Experience supporting VIP/Executive users
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Financial Services, Asset Management, Investment Banking, Capital Markets, or Banking experience
  • Experience supporting traders, portfolio managers, research analysts, or front-office users
  • Exposure to Bloomberg, Refinitiv, FactSet, Aladdin, OMS/EMS, or market-data platforms
