Job Description

Mandatory Requirements

  1. Five (5) years of progressively responsible relevant work experience in the areas of leading small to medium desktop installations, supporting and maintaining desktop operating systems,
  2. Microsoft Office including Outlook, standard web browsers, Ethernet, TCP/IP, Adobe Products, Symantec/Altiris products,
  3. CITRIX experience including executing work in a Direct CITRIX Administration Role, work virus products and high level concepts of VPN/RAS connections,
  4. ability to write various scripting languages as necessary but not limited to but including Vbscript, PowerShell and SQL.

2. Five (5) years' experience supporting corporate Business Class Desktops/Workstations in a Windows Active Directory environment.

Knowledge of: Fundamentals of desktop hardware, servers, software and operating systems including peripherals and diagnostic; methods and techniques for training users; methods and techniques for planning, organizing and overseeing work activities; techniques and concepts related to teamwork; characteristics and operational needs of various organizational units; concepts and principles related to implementing technology solutions; techniques and practices for problem research and resolution; techniques and practices for resolving complex technical issues; concepts and principles related to change management; techniques related to customer service; concepts of distributed and network computing; methods for accessing data; fundamentals of relational database management; concepts and operation of multi-user and multitasking operating system; concepts of Intel based operating systems; terminology for PC hardware, software and networking.

Qualifications

Education:

BA/BS degree from an accredited college or university majoring in Computer Technology, Data/Telecommunications, MIS, Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience.

1. Desktop operating systems, Microsoft Office including Outlook, standard web browsers, Ethernet, TCP/IP, Adobe Products, Symantec/Altiris products, CITRIX
