Job description

Job Category: Systems Architects/Consulting

As a Technical Architect (TA), you will play a pivotal role in guiding clients through the technical journey, from initial engagement to successful implementation. This position is central to fostering technical trust, building champions within client organizations, and ensuring solutions align seamlessly with their business needs. You will leverage your expertise to qualify solution fit, demonstrate product capabilities, and address technical challenges with precision and confidence.

Position Location

The position can be located NYC/NJ/CT but needs to be in the NYC office as needed, hybrid but at least 2 days a week.

Position Responsibilities
  • Establish relationships with clients, partners, and GTM teams to evaluate deals, determine business value, and offer technical guidance for customer satisfaction.
  • Responsible for designing and building cloud solutions to support client technology platforms.
  • Hold discovery meetings to gather and document business requirements during the sales cycle, supporting the implementation team with a detailed solution proposal.
  • Serve as technical escalation point and expert on ECI solutions.
  • Improve technical skills by attending training sessions, group seminars and obtaining certifications as requested.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Service, and GTM to continuously improve products, trainings and company processes.
  • Up to 25% travel.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
  • BA/BS degree in computer science, business or related field.
  • 3+ years’ experience in a Technical/Cloud/Solution Architect, Sales Engineering or Systems Engineering role.
  • Strong solutions sales skills and advanced written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Must independently build relationships and communicate with senior technical staff inside and outside the organization.
  • Ability to collaborate on problem‑solving, create proposals/contracts, and manage time efficiently.
Technical Experience

Thorough understanding and experience of the following:

  • Understanding of Microsoft Cloud: Office 365, Teams, SharePoint, AADDS, Intune, MFA, Conditional Access, Azure Functions, Azure servers/storage, Copilot.
  • Knowledge of networking: Networks, routers, firewalls, switching, circuits, wireless.
  • Understanding of Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity concepts.
  • Knowledge of Device Endpoint Management and Remote access, Azure, Citrix or other remote virtual desktop solutions.
  • Strong technical background combined with a robust ability to articulate technological concepts to all levels within an organization.
  • Ability to absorb and retain information quickly.
  • Ability to present technical ideas in user‑friendly language.
  • Highly self‑motivated and directed.
  • Capable of multitasking in a high‑pace environment, effectively and efficiently.
  • Strong technical problem‑solving skills.
Preferred Knowledge and Experience
  • Financial Applications.
  • AWS.
  • Digital Transformation, AIAgents/LLMs/DevOps.
  • Technical certifications from Azure, Cisco, Security, etc. a plus.
Working Conditions
  • Ability to work in an independent environment with moderate supervision.
  • Ability to work under a moderate noise level (e.g., working on an open floor with printers, telephones, and computers).
  • Ability to travel for business and work beyond normal business hours when necessary.
  • Ability to be flexible and successfully respond to multiple work pressures.
  • Sitting for extended periods of time.
  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, power tools, and to handle other computer components.

Maximum annual base compensation is $150,000 depending on experience and location, plus variable incentives, flexible PTO, health benefit eligibility the first of the month, life insurance, pet insurance, 401(k) and additional benefits.
