Responsibilities of a Diesel Technician entail:

  • Perform thorough diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair of diesel engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and other medium-duty and heavy-duty vehicle components.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance according to manufacturer recommendations and company standards, ensuring optimal vehicle performance and longevity.
  • Complete accurate and detailed documentation of work performed, including service records, parts used, and labor hours.
  • Adhere to strict safety protocols in the work environment, maintaining a clean workspace and properly utilizing tools and equipment.
  • Complete online training courses and attend instructor-led classes to advance your career.
  • Collaborate with the service team to provide exceptional customer service and prioritize the timely completion of repairs.
