Job description

Cisco UCS Engineer

Onsite at client location in Bellingham, WA

3 month contract, possible extension

Migrating away from their old UCSM environment

Assist with the integration of UCS chassis and ACI, emphasizing the importance of on-site support and knowledge transfer to the team

Will need to properly stand up UCS chassis, migrate hosts, decommission old blades, and reintegrate older servers into clusters. The goal is to integrate these with their ACI solution, which they are not fully utilizing.

Would like to have someone on-site to work closely with the team, help them complete the project, and provide hands-on training. This person would teach the team by allowing them to observe the implementation process.

Need for this resource to not only complete the project but also to ensure the team learns the necessary skills to manage the system independently in the future.
