Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cisco CCIE Expert Network Engineer to support a high-profile government/defense sector engagement in Hawaii. This is a fully onsite role requiring travel and hands-on expertise in designing, implementing, troubleshooting, and optimizing large-scale Cisco enterprise network infrastructures within classified environments.

The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in enterprise routing, switching, network security, and advanced routing protocols while ensuring network compliance, availability, and performance across mission-critical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain complex Cisco enterprise network infrastructures.
  • Configure, optimize, and troubleshoot advanced routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and IS-IS.
  • Implement and support MPLS, Policy-Based Routing (PBR), route redistribution, route maps, and prefix lists.
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting for routing, switching, and network performance issues.
  • Conduct network configuration auditing and compliance assessments using Titania Nipper / Nipper Studio.
  • Configure and support Cisco IOS, IOS-XE, IOS-XR, and Cisco Nexus platforms.
  • Manage Cisco ASA and Firepower (FTD) firewalls, VPN technologies, and network segmentation.
  • Develop and maintain secure network architectures supporting classified environments.
  • Perform network documentation, change management, and technical reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams and stakeholders to ensure network reliability and security.
  • Participate in onsite implementation activities and travel as required.
Required Qualifications
  • Active Top Secret (TS) Security Clearance.
  • Current Cisco CCIE Certification (Enterprise Infrastructure, Routing & Switching, Security, or Service Provider).
  • Minimum 8 years of hands-on Cisco network engineering experience.
  • Expert-level experience with:
    • BGP
    • OSPF
    • EIGRP
    • IS-IS
    • MPLS
    • Route Maps
    • Prefix Lists
    • Policy-Based Routing (PBR)
    • Route Redistribution
