Position: NCDIT - Senior Security Specialist Networking

Location: Wake Forest Rd, Raleigh NC (Onsite)

Job Description:

Typical Experience: 84+ months

Network Security Operations has an urgent and critical need to onboard a Network Security Specialist contractor. The Network Security Operations team comprises of four FTE’s and we currently have one vacancy and are anticipating a second vacancy in the coming month. Onboarding one twelve-month contractor will bring us up to 75% staffing and will allow us to continue critical operations and project work that is required to protect and safeguard the state’s networks and data center resources.

Critical projects the contractor will be responsible for:

  • VPN MFA Authentication Migration
  • Cisco Network Readiness Assessment Remediation (NRA)
  • Rubrik Data Protection Deployment
  • Replace ASA 5516 Cluster NS Firewall at EDC
  • Upgrade Firewall Software Code on Cisco Cluster 4114 Firewalls
  • Production Mainframe Migration to Ensono
