As a member of the Pediatric Hospitalist group, you can truly focus on your patients, supported by a collaborative team and the resources of a leading healthcare system. You'll provide vital inpatient care, becoming a trusted healthcare partner within our welcoming community.
The Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative designated Birthing Center at Columbus Regional Health provides a full range of baby delivery services welcoming over 1,300 babies each year. Each LDRP room boasts state-of the-art equipment and is on the same level as a designated C-Section OR suite. The Birthing Center offers two levels of nursery care and includes a physician lounge equipped with a screen for fetal monitoring of each patient.
Opportunity Highlights
  • Access to Cleveland Clinic's knowledge and best practices while still working for an Independent Health System with a supportive and collaborative Leadership Team
  • EPIC EMR
  • 7 on/7 off, 12-hour on-site shifts
  • Responsible for Emergency Department consults in addition to rounding on pediatric inpatients, nursery, & newborns
    • Level I and II Nursery - average births per year is 1,300
    • Pediatric Unit 1-3 patient average (4-6 average during busy season)
    • 17 bed Birthing Center supported by nurses that are cross-trained to provide labor/delivery, postpartum, and newborn care
  • REQUIRED PROCEDURES WITH RECENT EXPERIENCE:
    • Neonatal Resuscitation
    • Intubation
    • Lumbar Puncture
    • Circumcision (on-site training available)
    • Emergency Needle Thoracentesis
    • Umbilical Lines, CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula, IV fluids, tube feedings, antibiotics
  • REQUIRED: NRP and PALS certified
