Unit Specifics:

Number of Beds: 11 Labor Beds/ 2 Triage/ 2 OR

Patient Ratios: 1:1 Laboring patients 3:1 Couplets

Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability): Birth Registrar/Surgical OR Techs

Type of equipment: Monica- wireless fetal monitoring/ GE fetal monitoring

Documentation system: Meditech/ CPN

Scheduling requirements: Every 3rd weekend

Floating policy: Float to Sister Facility LD/PP

Patient Experience requirements: Bedside Report/ Safety Rounding

Hospital Specifics:

Certifications: Burn Certified/ Trauma Certified

Hiring profile

Requested Skill Set:

Fetal monitor interpretation, high risk antepartum care active labor management, c-section circulation, post-partum care, circumcision assist procedures, bili light care, lab draw from mother and baby

Must have:

Fetal monitor interpretation, high risk antepartum care active labor management, c-section circulation, post-partum care, circumcision assist procedures, bili light care, lab draw from mother and baby, magnesium administration for pre-eclamptic patients

Advanced skills needed: NRP, BLS
