Job description

Job Responsibilities Provide high-quality administrative support for the library, as well as assisting patrons/students at the service desk. Administrative support includes purchasing, billing, supply tracking & ordering, employment forms, mail, copies, work orders, reporting, archives, and special projects. Assisting patrons at the service desk includes circulation duties, use of the library, and use of computers/technology.

Minimum and Additional Requirements Strong customer service skills, attention to detail, organization, and punctuality/dependability. Knowledge of Windows and Office programs and general technology skills Preferred Qualifications Previous experience with purchasing & billing. Knowledge and experience in a college and/or library environment.

Additional Comments This position requires moving around the library frequently to assist patrons, moving manual compact shelving, lifting and moving books and materials weighing up to 25 pounds, and reaching items on shelves ranging from ground level to 6 high (stools available).
