Job description

Who we are:

Visual Comfort & Co. is the premier resource for decorative and architectural lighting, ceiling fans, system controls and automated shading solutions from the most influential designers in the world. We are proud to offer a market-leading range of premium products across categories, styles and price points, remaining committed to beautiful design and, above all, a world-class customer experience.

Visual Comfort is looking for a Marketing Analytics Manager to be the go-to expert on how customers experience our website — where they land, how they navigate, where they drop off, and what's getting in their way. You'll build standardized reporting that keeps the business informed and lead the deep-dive analysis that answers the "why" behind the numbers. You'll also be a key analytics partner to our paid digital marketing team, helping them understand what's driving performance and where to invest next.

This is a senior individual contributor role for someone who's genuinely curious about customer behavior, comfortable working through ambiguity, and proactive about finding answers before anyone has to ask for them.

  • Work-Life Balance: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
  • Training & Development: A comprehensive and structured training program, complemented by ongoing education and opportunities for career advancement.
  • Paid Time Off: Generous vacation accrual and paid time off policies.
  • Holidays: 7 paid holidays per year, in addition to 2 floating holidays.
  • Compensation: Competitive compensation plan
  • Health Benefits: Visual Comfort pays the majority of employees medical, vision, and dental coverage, available starting the first of the month following your start date.
  • Insurance: Company-provided life insurance and short-term disability coverage.
  • Retirement: 401(k) plan with company matching up to 4%, available beginning the first of the month following your hire date.

How success is defined:

  • Own standardized reporting on website performance and customer journeys — sessions, entry points, navigation paths, drop-off points, and friction — and make sure the right people see it at the right time.
  • Lead deep-dive analyses that go beyond "what happened" to explain "why," using tools like GA4 and Fullstory to trace real customer behavior through the funnel.
  • Partner closely with the paid digital marketing team, providing reporting and analysis that shapes campaign strategy, budget decisions, and channel performance.
  • Identify friction points and drop-off patterns in the customer journey, and turn those findings into clear, actionable recommendations for UX, ecommerce, and marketing partners.
  • Build and maintain dashboards in Power BI or Looker that give stakeholders self-serve visibility into the metrics that matter.
  • Write and run SQL queries against Google BigQuery to pull, shape, and validate the data behind your analysis.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with UX, development, ecommerce, and marketing teams to prioritize improvements that drive acquisition, conversion, and retention.
  • Bring structure to ambiguous questions — when there's no existing report or clear path to an answer, you know how to figure out what to measure and how.
  • Present findings in a way that's clear and useful to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior leadership.

What you will bring:

  • 7+ years of experience in digital/web analytics, ecommerce analytics, or a similar analytical role, ideally in a B2C or DTC environment.
  • Hands-on proficiency with GA4 and a session-replay/behavioral analytics tool like Fullstory.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience querying data in Google BigQuery.
  • Experience building dashboards and reports in Power BI or Looker.
  • Solid understanding of ecommerce metrics (conversion rate, AOV, funnel performance) and paid digital marketing metrics (ROAS, CAC, CPA, attribution).
  • A track record of translating data into insight — you don't just report numbers, you explain what they mean and what to do about them.
  • Comfort operating independently in ambiguous situations, with the curiosity to dig deeper and the initiative to bring solutions, not just findings.
  • Strong communication skills, with experience presenting analysis to stakeholders at multiple levels.
  • Experience in luxury or high-end consumer goods is a strong plus.

Compensation Range: $120,000 - $130,000

Compensation is based on individual factors, including skill set, relevant experience, and work location
