CAMPUS IMPACT LEADER
he Campus Impact Leader (CIL) is a paid student leadership position designed to provide meaningful on-campus employment while developing professional, leadership, and service oriented skills. Campus Impact Leaders serve as ambassadors for Brazosport College and support departments across campus by assisting with operations, student engagement, outreach, and special initiatives.
This position is ideal for students who are motivated, dependable, and interested in gaining real-world experience while making a positive impact on the campus community.
โ€ข Hours: up to 14 hours per week
โ€ข Schedule: Flexible around class schedules; some evening or event hours may be required.
Campus Impact Leaders may be assigned to one or more departments and will:
โ€ข Serve as a professional representative and ambassador for Brazosport College
โ€ข Support day-to-day departmental operations and special projects
โ€ข Assist with student engagement, outreach, campus events, and special projects
โ€ข Provide peer support and guidance by connecting students to campus resources
โ€ข Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions
โ€ข Communicate regularly with supervisors and program leadership
โ€ข Complete required documentation, timesheets, and evaluations
โ€ข Participate in required training, meetings, and leadership development activities
Minimum Qualifications
โ€ข Be currently enrolled fulltime at Brazosport College
โ€ข Be in good academic standing - minimum 2.50 GP A
โ€ข Demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and strong communication skills
โ€ข Be able to maintain confidentiality and follow FERP A guidelines
โ€ข Commit to the program for the full semester and/or length of project
Preferred Qualifications
โ€ข Prior campus involvement or leadership experience
โ€ข Strong organizational and time-management skills
โ€ข Ability to work independently and as part of a team
