What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), and why are they important?

To thrive as a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), you need a solid background in occupational health, chemistry, biology, and safety, typically supported by a relevant science degree and CIH certification. Familiarity with industrial hygiene sampling equipment, analytical methods, and regulatory systems like OSHA and NIOSH is essential.
