Onsite Work location in Florence, NJ
Express Scripts Pharmacy is a division of Evernorth Health Services a part of The Cigna Group is looking for a Pharmacy Technician to work onsite at our Florence Fulfillment Center.

The Pharmacy Technician (Pharmacy Technician Representative) ensures prescriptions are processed and shipped appropriately so they can arrive in the hands of the 100 million patients whose health depends on their delivery.
Work Schedule: Sunday - Thursday 3:00pm to 11:30pm Eastern time
Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the correct amount of medication is selected and indicated appropriately on labels.
    • Manual prescription processing and labeling
    • Ability to verify and print prescriptions.
    • Use of a scanner to verify Manufacturer bottles and finished orders.
  • Collaborate with pharmacists to ensure that medications are adequately filled and packed.
  • Responsible for intake of new prescriptions and prescription refills from customers.
  • Consolidate manufacturer medications into containers of 5-10 thousand dosage units.
  • Clean and help maintain equipment and work area.
  • Assigned additional tasks as required.

Qualifications/Requirements:
  • HS Diploma or GED required.
  • Pharmacy Certification is required for this position. We will train and pay for Certification onsite. Continued employment will be contingent upon successfully passing the written test for Certification.
  • 1+ years of relevant work experience in a high volume fulfillment, metrics, production or manufacturing environment.
  • Self-motivator with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and exceptional time management skills.
  • PC knowledge, including Microsoft Office suite.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.

Physical Requirements:
  • Sit and/or stand for lengthy periods.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally and 20 lbs. frequently
  • Perform repetitive motion with fingers, hands, and arms.
  • Work may be in confined areas close to machinery.
  • Work may be performed in an environment with varying levels of noise.
