Warehouse Associate/ Receiver

Key Responsibilities:
Receiving and Inspection:
  • Receive shipments and inspect goods for damages, discrepancies, or missing items.
  • Sort and organize stock for storage or distribution in the market/warehouse.
  • Maintain accurate records of invoices sent and received.
  • Running daily operational reports.
Order Fulfillment:
  • Prepare and fulfill orders by selecting items from the warehouse and packaging them for delivery to chefs.
  • Keep track of chefs' ingredient requirements, returns, and special requests.
Inventory Management:
  • Monitor inventory levels and restock shelves as needed to ensure availability.
  • Conduct weekly counts of assigned inventory and report discrepancies.
  • Keep detailed records of inventory movement within the warehouse.
Equipment Operation:
  • Operate pallet jacks, hi-lo equipment, and forklifts to move high-volume inventory and pallets.
  • Ensure equipment is used safely and report any maintenance needs.
Organization and Maintenance:
  • Keep the warehouse and store organized and clean, adhering to safety and hygiene standards.
