Job Functions / Responsibilities
  • Analyzes orders, identifies incompatible option content, and makes recommendations to dealers/customers 
  • Coordinates with product engineers and dealers, as necessary, to resolve incompatibilities.
  • Provides technical guidance for changes during pilot inspections and feedback related to technical information.
  • Helps implement and coordinate new programs
  • Manage projects for continuous improvement initiatives
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Attendance is an essential function of all positions
Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
•    Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate technical data
•    Demonstrate a high level of initiative and follow through
•    Strong desire to learn new roles and activities within department
•    Demonstrate and maintain high level of flexibility 
•    Strong knowledge of heavy duty trucks is preferred
•    Must be detail oriented
•    Must be capable of multi-tasking

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
•    BS degree in Engineering or Technical field is preferred
•    Three to five years of truck or automotive experience with demonstrated understanding of mechanical devices and manufacturing processes 
•    Two years of PACCAR experience is preferred.   
•    Demonstrated ability to understand complex tasks
•    Familiarity of CICS system
•    Proficient with Windows systems


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
•    Must meet physical requirements of the position with or without accommodations

TESTS TO DETERMINE QUALIFICATIONS MAY BE GIVEN TO CANDIDATES

Education

BS degree in Engineering or Technical field is preferred
