Your impact
  • Lead an engineering mechanics team committed to safety, reliability, and efficiency on the production floor.
  • Own installation, maintenance, and repair activities to keep equipment running and productivity high.
  • Implement process improvements to improve product quality, reduce waste, and increase manufacturing efficiency.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Production, Quality Assurance, R&D) to diagnose and resolve issues.
  • Design and execute a preventive maintenance program for critical assets.
  • Maintain adherence to local, state, and federal regulations governing food safety, equipment, and environmental standards.
  • Manage capital projects—equipment upgrades, process changes, and system enhancements—from plan to completion.
  • Provide training and mentorship that strengthen technical skills across the plant.
  • Monitor budgets and recommend cost-effective solutions for equipment and process improvements.
  • Advance automation, data-driven decision making, and lean manufacturing practices.
  • Evaluate and propose new technologies to elevate operational performance and product excellence.
What you bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent practical experience welcome.
  • 5+ years in engineering, maintenance, or supervisory roles within food manufacturing or a similar industrial setting.
  • Knowledge of food production equipment, processes, and food safety requirements.
  • Demonstrated success supervising maintenance or engineering mechanics and running technical projects.
  • Background in process optimization, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement.
  • Competence with electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation systems.
  • Resourceful troubleshooter who thrives in fast-moving environments.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and MES is a plus.
  • Project management capability with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Interest in sustainability practices and passion for innovation in the food industry.
