This position is filled annually with payment in the form of a stipend after successful completion of the responsibilities related to the position.
DURATION: Fall Sports Season (inclusive of team performance as various venues and of team practice in preparation for competition; competition season inclusive of league, region and state competition schedule).
PAY: Stipend as listed in the Professional Agreement between the Thomaston Board of Education and the Thomaston Education Association; no benefits.
QUALIFICATIONS: Applicant must have current certification in CPR and first aid, and a valid Connecticut coaching certification. All coaches with a coaching permit must complete training course for concussion and head injuries (unless previously satisfied, must provide substantiating documentation). Must behave in the position in accordance with the job description, district policy, and the CIAC Handbook*.
