About the Team
This team works to democratize devkit development by helping developers find success on our client's platforms. We build, maintain, and improve game engine integrations and developer tools that power the XR ecosystem, bridging the gap between our client's platform capabilities and the engines developers use every day. Our work spans engine-level features, SDK improvements, developer workflows, and tooling that make building for the platform faster and more accessible.
The Role
We're looking for a CI/CD engineer that can help keep our pipeline moving as we produce new builds for developer environment, with a focus on Unreal Engine. You'll work across the stack, from low-level engine code to developer-facing tools, improving the XR development experience on Meta's platforms. This role requires strong independent judgment, the ability to navigate large codebases, and comfort working with AI-first development workflows.
Responsibilities:
-Own the Unreal Engine CI/CD pipeline (build, test, package, release automation)
-Migrate and deprecate legacy CI systems
-Reduce build times through parallelism, caching, and toolchain optimizations
-Debug CI and Unreal Engine issues
Requirements:
-Strong CI/CD and build systems experience (large-scale pipelines, automation)
-Python scripting for tooling and automation
-Windows build toolchain familiarity (MSBuild, Visual Studio, UAT)
-Comfort with large monorepo
-Strong debugging skills across build systems and CI systems
Nice to Have:
-OpenXR and XR rendering experience (composition layers, passthrough, depth)
-Gameplay development experience, especially with the Unreal engine
-Performance profiling and optimization experience (CPU, GPU, memory).
