DEVOPS CI/CD RELEASE MANAGER

Hiring Range (Monthly Pay): $7,599 - $8,750

Full-time / Part-time: Full-time

Summary:

The DevOps CI/CD Release Manager will be responsible for the development and support of the CI/CD pipelines for the Health Information Exchange (HIE), and for overseeing the release process for software and application deployments for internally developed solutions, as well as for certain key 3rd party vendor solutions.


The DevOps CI/CD Release Manager will manage internal software releases using solutions and technology such as Git, GitHub, Jira, C#, SQL, MongoDB, and APIs. This position will support the development of new and existing solutions at Contexture through all phases of the Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC). As applicable, after hours may be necessary to support deployments, changes, or major incident response.

This position is based in Phoenix Arizona; Denver Colorado; or Grand Junction, Colorado and requires local residency in one of these base locations. Our strategic flexibility allows for local work from home opportunities.


Qualifications

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for building, testing, and deploying applications.
  • Automate build, test, and deployment processes across multiple environments.
  • Develop, scale, and control strategies, standards, guidelines, and governance of CI systems.
  • Integrate quality gates, security scanning, and deployment validation into pipelines
  • Troubleshoot issues along the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Manage and monitor progress of software releases from inception to delivery.
  • Develop and implement release strategies and schedules.
  • Manage dependencies, risks, and change coordination.
  • Define and implement a communication strategy for release details and schedules to stakeholders.
  • Lead and coordinate release activities with Project Management, Development, QA, Data, and Integrations teams.
  • Coordinate the Contexture acceptance, approval, and communication process for 3rd party software releases.
  • Define and evolve release and deployment standards, documentation, and runbooks.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Required Skills

  • Minimum 3 years of DevOps, CI/CD, or Release Management experience.
  • Minimum 1 year of object-oriented Software Development using languages such as C++, C#, or Python.
  • Experience in Git Version Control and GitHub, including GitHub actions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to clearly communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Desired Skills

  • Experience in Agile development.
  • Experience using and configuring Jira.
  • Some experience developing APIs and Web Services.
  • Experience in Windows and Linux environments.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

Education/Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Information Technology and Software Development.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or another related field required; equivalent directly related work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
