Job Summary:
Zaden Technologies, Inc. is on a mission to simplify the delivery and improve the utility of software products for customers. They are seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to lead CI/CD automation and GitOps delivery, focusing on building secure, automated pipelines while ensuring compliance with DoD standards.
Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and manage GitLab CI/CD pipelines for containerized applications
• Integrate security scanning, SBOM generation, image signing, and artifact promotion into build workflows
• Automate deployment to Kubernetes environments using Helm and FluxCD
• Support dependency management and open-source scanning using tools like Renovate
• Troubleshoot pipeline issues and optimize CI/CD performance
• Collaborate with security teams to ensure RMF/ATO-aligned evidence collection from pipelines
• Administer and maintain Linux-based systems supporting DevSecOps infrastructure
• Contribute to continuous improvement of DevSecOps practices and tooling
Qualifications:
Required:
• U.S. Citizenship and a security clearance (secret or above)
• Demonstrated experience with FluxCD and GitOps workflows
• Strong CI/CD experience, particularly with GitLab CI
• Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Self-starter with ability to work independently and take initiative
• Experience administering Linux systems
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker/Podman, Kubernetes, Helm)
Preferred:
• 5+ years of DevSecOps engineering experience
• Experience with RHEL and RHEL-based Linux distributions
• Experience with the Coder K8s-based development environment
• Strong understanding of the DoD DevSecOps Reference Guide and DSOP factory pipelines
• Supply chain security experience (SBOM generation, image signing, vulnerability scanning)
• Familiarity with Windows server administration and automation
• Knowledge of RMF/ATO compliance requirements
