Job Title: Greenhouse College Evangelist


FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt


Salary Job Class: Associate-Director


Reports to: College Director with additional reporting to Missions Pastor

Job Summary/Purpose:

The purpose of this ministry position is to serve as a main evangelist for Greenhouse College. This position will exponentially grow attendance and improve the experience of the Sunday night Greenhouse College service at the University of Florida, increase discipleship & evangelism trainings, and empower multiplication & evangelism in students' discipleship journey


Position Goals:

  • Grow Sunday night attendance by 100 people during 2025-26 year
  • 50% increase in college baptisms in 2025-2026 school year
  • Lead UA EV team and grow to 30 volunteers
  • Launch and lead Sunday night 411 training. Train 500 college students during school year

Greenhouse College Leadership and Shepherding

  • Meet with Microchurch leaders every week
  • Co-lead Leaders Microchurch
  • Co-lead coach groups in Discipleship Training

Oversee University of Florida & Santa Fe outreach

  • Develop and oversee the effective structure of radical outreach at college campuses
  • Ensure tabling is done on campus multiple times a month on both UF and Santa Fe
  • Conduct robust evangelism trainings for students during semester
    • Train and shadow students in evangelism
    • Empower Microchurches to be potent in evangelism
  • Work with college staffto creatively blow up invitational strategies on Sundays Nights and Sunday mornings
  • Increase microchurch pipeline at University Auditorium
  • Lead the planning, promotion, and execution of wide-reaching Welcome Week events on UF and Santa Fe and designated Invite Sundays with intent to introduce and acclimate tons of new students to Greenhouse Collaborate with staffto develop a variety of engaging activities to reach the entire campus via events, postering, etc.
    • Ignite college serve team, interns and microchurch leaders by providing opportunities for them to contribute their talents, skills, and ideas
    • Design dynamic, student-centered events that appeal to diverse interests and promote connection



University Auditorium

  • Provide staff leadershipfor the volunteer ministries on the University Campus. This includes
    • Sound & Tech Ministry; Hospitality Ministry (Ushers, Greeters, Welcome Desk, Signs, & Parking); Van/Transportation Ministry; Altar Ministry; Set Up & Tear Down Teams; Activate; Prayer Ministry, Worship Ministry
  • Lead evangelism team, trainings at UA
  • Manages logistics for services, including Planning Center, baptism setup, and ensuring the UA environment is ready
  • Engineer ways to make the Sunday night atmosphere to be more compelling, attractive, etc.


College Internship

  • Assist the promotion and execution of College Internship during Summer B
  • Lead teachings, discipleship groups during internship
  • Cultivate high evangelism culture in internship while generating powerful momentum for the Fall semester
  • Maximize interns' time on campus during college internship and Summer B services
  • Develop and implement strategies to attract new students during summer B


Greenhouse College as a Missionary Pipeline

  • Promote culture of every student participate in at least one mission trip in their collegiate career
  • Facilitate college missions trips
  • Create opportunities for Give a Year Pray About a Lifetime campaign - mobilize students to serve on the global mission field while praying about serving for life
  • Lead University Campus in radical generosity for missions and the Global Church.


Post-College Sending (Greenhouse Movement)

  • Work alongside Movement Pastors across all campuses and provide vision, direction and resourcing to help students become planted and thriving in their local campus.
  • Regularly communicate with Movement staffon behalf of the GH College team for all efforts, activities and status within GH College.
  • Connect students to other campuses during holidays breaks, summer breaks as well as help transition graduates to other GH campuses


Qualifications & Skill Requirements

  • One year management and supervisory experience with paid or volunteer staff
  • Commitment to developing working knowledge and application of the Greenhouse Church mission and ministry strategy and evidenced ability to implement within ministry emphasis
  • General joy attitude
  • Quick thinker, able to make decisions
  • Ability to exercise confidentiality and discretionary judgment with noted ability to make sound decisions
  • Ability to present a Jesus-like image when presented before or interaction with diverse groups of individuals
  • Ability to exercise flexibility within working responsibilities or environment
  • Excellent oral and written skills to effectively communicate in the English language
  • Proficient PC skills, with the ability to learn new software and/or applications
  • Expert with social media
  • Ability to perform in a multi-task environment, with the ability to prioritize work requirements
