Facilities Maintenance and Operations Technician
Job Summary
Under direct supervision from Cornerstone Chapel's Director of Facilities, the Maintenance and Operations Technician provides maintenance, repair and improvement of Cornerstone Chapel and CCA's facilities, grounds, structures equipment, vehicles, and utilities and supports daily school operations. He or she will seek to perform all duties as unto the Lord, relying on the Holy Spirit for guidance, and completing all tasks with excellence.
Minimum Qualifications
Education
  • Graduation from High school or General Education Development (GED) Certificate

Experience
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in a commercial property setting

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Competent knowledge of school operations, including maintenance practices/procedures of facility equipment and building systems
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry skills.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues effectively.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Able to follow instructions and work both collaboratively and independently
  • Strong communicator with excellent verbal and written skills
  • Critical thinker who is able to solve problems
  • Able to multi-task
  • Able to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to complete work orders and projects
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and the ability to work in a safe manner.
