We seek an experienced operations leader who will strengthen the systems, people, and processes that enable ministry to flourish.

Position Summary

The Director of Parish Operations serves as the operational leader of the parish, partnering closely with the Rector, staff, volunteers, and parish leaders to ensure excellent day-to-day operations while strengthening the infrastructure that supports Holy Comforter's mission.

Operations & Administration

● Oversee daily administrative and operational functions.

● Coordinate calendars, facilities, office systems, and workflows.

● Manage vendors, technology resources, contracts, and records.

● Develop systems that improve parish operations.

● Some after-hours and weekend availability may be required


Staff & Volunteer Leadership

● Supervise Communications Manager, Bookkeeper, and designated volunteers.

● Support onboarding and foster a collaborative, service-oriented culture.

Communications & Parish Support

● Coordinate parish communications and publication workflows.

● Support hospitality, newcomer engagement, and major parish events.

Membership, Compliance & Facilities

● Maintain membership records and diocesan reporting.

● Coordinate Safe Church compliance.

● Serve as liaison for facilities, maintenance, rentals, and vendors.

Qualifications

Required

● Professionalism and confidentiality

● Experience in small business, church, nonprofit, or operations leadership
