Position Overview

Southall Church is a healthy, multiplying church in Franklin, TN with a vision to bring the life of Jesus to our families, neighbors and nations. We are seeking a hard-working, yet down to earth, Campus Operations Director to help lead and manage all things facilities and safety.


Role Summary

The Campus Operations Director will provide oversight and leadership for all aspects of our 67 acre campus. This role partners closely with leadership and ministry teams to ensure that every Southall Church environment is resourced from both a safety and facilities standpoint. They will help ensure that the campus is ready as we continue to grow and prepare for future multi-campus expansion.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee all campus facilities, safety, and building operations for Southall Church.
  • Recruit, develop, and shepherd volunteers and facilities team members, helping create a culture where people feel valued, equipped, and cared for.
  • Work closely with the Executive Pastor to resource and support the ministries of Southall Church.
  • Oversee and coordinate building maintenance, repairs, and improvement projects across all church facilities and environments.
  • Manage relationships with contractors, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure quality work and timely project completion.
  • Develop and lead teams responsible for facility maintenance, event setup, campus readiness, and special projects.
  • Oversee all current and future construction, renovation, and campus improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure all church environments are clean, safe, functional, and ministry-ready throughout the week.
  • Manage building access, security systems, and facility scheduling in coordination with staff and ministry teams.
  • Steward and manage the campus facilities budget with wisdom, organization, and accountability.
  • Other duties as needed.

  • Demonstrated mature Christian character and personal commitment to Jesus Christ.
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to take initiative and follow through on responsibilities.
  • Skilled in facility maintenance, repairs, and building operations.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently when needed.
  • Love the local church and believe that organization of discipleship is Kingdom work.


SCHEDULE: Sunday - Thursday  

HOURS: 40 (must be available for special events, church meetings, etc)

COMPENSATION: TBD
