About this job:
This part-time position provides hands-on experience for Emily Griffith Technical College (EGTC) students while supporting Denver Public Schools (DPS) in maintaining critical technology used for student learning. The Chromebook Repair Technician is responsible for overseeing and performing repairs, maintenance, imaging, and troubleshooting of Chromebook devices used by students and staff across DPS schools.
The role supports seamless digital learning by ensuring all devices are functioning efficiently and returned to service quickly.

What You'll Do:
• Service and repair Chromebooks in accordance with warranty standards and industry best-practices
• Monitor schools' spare pool levels and ensure that schools have sufficient supplies to address student needs
• Develop and refine systems and workflow for repair and cleaning of devices
• Utilize and develop processes within an asset tracking system to track Chromebooks and peripherals distributed to students and staff
• Troubleshoot issues remotely and on-site for Chromebooks and asset tracking software
• Report data and trends and provide analysis on Chromebook distribution and repair rates
What You'll Need:
  • High school diploma or GED minimum required.
  • Currently enrolled as a student at Emily Griffith Technical College with eligibility for Work Study employment
  • Lead for racial and educational excellence and work to dismantle systems of oppression and inequity in our community, along with believing in and supporting all students so they feel seen and heard with access to high quality education.
  • Live and work with a permanent home address in Colorado while working with us.
  • Have the ability with or without accommodations to meet the physical demands of the position.
