Job description

2026 Summer Technology Intern (Unpaid)

The Summer Technology Intern assists the Technology Department with projects that support district technology systems and equipment. This position provides hands-on experience in educational technology, computer hardware maintenance, and technology deployment within a K12 environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with Chromebook repair and maintenance
  • Set up computers, monitors, printers, and other technology equipment
  • Support classroom and office technology installations, moves, and reconfigurations
  • Assist with summer teardown and setup of technology equipment
  • Organize, inventory, and track technology assets
  • Provide basic technical support under staff supervision
  • Perform other technology-related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Interest in technology, computers, or information systems
  • Ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to lift and move technology equipment as needed
