Who You Are:

Amoskeag Health is seeking an experienced Human Resources leader to join our Senior Leadership Team at our nonprofit community health center, serving approximately 200 dedicated staff members.

Reporting directly to the President & CEO, the CHRO serves as a trusted advisor to organizational leadership and is responsible for the strategic direction of all human resources and organizational development functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and workforce development/planning. compliance, HRIS administration, and workforce planning. The individual in this role also has hand-on responsibilities for compliance, employee relations, policy development/maintenance, compensation administration, and reporting.

Lead a Strong HR Team

The CHRO leads a talented and dedicated HR team, including specialists in:

  • Benefits Administration
  • Recruitment and Talent Acquisition
  • Credentialing, HR Operations and HRIS

What You'll Do:

  • Work with managers and staff to address employee relations and workplace concerns in a manner that strives to achieve staff success
  • Develop succession planning and workforce development strategies to develop our talent pipeline. This includes working with colleges/universities and other agencies to grow staff.
  • Oversee recruitment efforts in a competitive healthcare labor market.
  • Guide leadership development and management coaching programs.
  • Manage compensation, benefits, compliance, and HR operations.
  • Leverage data and HR metrics to drive strategic decision-making.
  • Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performing workplace culture.
  • Partner with executive leadership to align HR and organizational development strategies with business goals.
  • Assist with looking at opportunities (in collaboration with our Grant Writer) to support various strategic HR initiatives like personnel engagement and leadership training.
