Job description

The Executive Director, Marketing Communications is a senior leader within Kenneth Copeland Ministries (KCM), responsible for the strategy and execution of Communications, Advertising, and Publications. Reporting to the Chief Growth Officer (CGO), this leader is accountable for measurable results across the entire partner journey - generating new names, converting them through funnels, deepening engagement, and reactivating lapsed donors.
This role demands a results-driven executive with proven expertise in lead generation, donor engagement, funnel and partner journey management, digital monetization, and team leadership. The right candidate stays closely in tune with the needs of our partners and does everything possible to ensure those needs are met at every touchpoint. A strong understanding of the Christian faith and Word of Faith teaching is essential.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead Generation, Funnels & Partner Journey
  • Design and execute multi-channel campaigns - digital, social, search, paid media, email, content, broadcast, print - to drive new names and leads into KCM.
  • Build, manage, and optimize conversion funnels that move new names from awareness to first engagement, first gift, and active partnership.
  • Own the end-to-end partner journey, ensuring every touchpoint and channel handoff is intentional, measured, and designed to convert.
  • Continually analyze the partner journey and funnel performance, identifying drop-off points and opportunities to improve conversion at every stage.
  • Use audience insights and behavioral data to ensure KCM is meeting partner needs - and that strategy reflects what partners actually want and value.

Donor Engagement & Digital Monetization
  • Drive the full donor lifecycle - conversion, retention, and reactivation - through segmented, data-driven engagement campaigns.
  • Establish and own KPIs for conversion, retention, reactivation, lifetime value, and average gift growth; hold the team accountable to results.
  • Lead the monetization strategy across KCM's digital ecosystem - paid media, programmatic, search, social, email/SMS, websites, apps, and podcasts - with a relentless focus on ROI, CPA, and LTV.
  • Continuously evaluate emerging platforms, technologies, and revenue models; bring forward-looking recommendations to the CGO.
  • Partner with Business Intelligence to test, measure, and refine campaigns through analytics and disciplined A/B testing.

Communications, Brand & Content
  • Oversee all outbound communications - email, direct mail, magazine, social, partner outreach - aligned to a unified thematic calendar and brand voice.
  • Manage editorial calendars, content briefings, proofing, and production schedules for KCM's magazine, publications, and digital materials.
  • Direct the development of creative content (graphics, video, written) and maintain KCM's visual and verbal brand standards across every channel.
  • Collaborate with Creative Services, Creative Strategists, and ministry leadership on publications, books, magazines, and multimedia teaching resources.

Team Leadership & Performance
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team across marketing, communications, and publications - building a culture of accountability and results.
  • Set clear performance expectations, individual goals, and team KPIs; coach team members to consistently deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Manage project timelines, workflows, and approvals to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
  • Oversee departmental budgets and resource allocation in coordination with the CGO, maximizing return on every dollar invested.

Strategic Collaboration & Reporting
  • Partner closely with the CGO, delivering regular performance updates, campaign recaps, donor engagement metrics, and strategic recommendations.
  • Serve as the primary integration point across all outbound communications, aligning marketing with Partner Relations, Ministerial Relations, and ministry programming.
  • Partner with Enterprise Operations as a key stakeholder for KCM's digital platforms, ensuring user experience and conversion architecture support growth objectives.

Requirements
EDUCATION
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field required. Master's preferred.

EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES
  • 10+ years of progressive marketing, communications, or advertising experience, with 5+ years in senior leadership managing teams and budgets.
  • Proven track record driving donor or customer engagement across the full lifecycle (conversion, retention, reactivation), with demonstrable results in revenue, retention, and LTV.
  • Demonstrated success building multi-channel lead generation campaigns and converting new names through structured marketing funnels.
  • Demonstrated success monetizing digital marketing and social media campaigns, including paid media, programmatic, search, and social advertising.
  • Strong instinct for partner needs, with a habit of continually analyzing the partner journey to better serve them.
  • Proven record of leading high-performing teams that deliver measurable results against defined KPIs.
  • Strong data literacy; fluent in analytics, attribution, and performance reporting to executive leadership.
  • Proficient with CRM, marketing automation, and project management tools (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, Asana, Monday.com).
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; able to draft and shape articles, campaign copy, and positioning content.
  • Strong alignment with Christian values; faith-based environment experience strongly preferred.
  • Servant-leadership mindset with executive presence; initiative-taking, resourceful, and results-oriented.
