General Description:

Welcome all who come into or telephone the parish office and provide administrative related office services to staff and members of parish committees and groups, along with managing the parish bulletin.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and direct visitors.
  • Answer phones and direct calls appropriately.
  • Prepare and print weekly parish bulletin.
  • Maintain Mass intention book.
  • Sort incoming/process outgoing mail.
  • Help with bulk mailings.
  • Available for staff meetings.



Requirements:

Position Qualifications:

  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • Excellent Communication Skills (verbal and written)
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office programs, especially Publisher/design software
  • Demonstrates the ability to set priorities and organize work efficiently to meet deadlines
  • Helpful to have knowledge of Copyright laws
  • Works well with the public and represents the parish favorably in all interactions
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality

Work Schedule:

With some flexibility, but primarily Tuesdays and Thursdays 9 AM to 4 PM, Fridays 9 AM - Noon
