Job Summary
Dash is a quick service restaurant/deli located inside our Daily's convenience stores. These associates prepare customer orders, process, maintain restaurant and kitchen cleanliness, and provide outstanding service to our guests.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Greet all customers and answer questions
  • Provide guests with exceptional service
  • Suggestive sell product according to company policies
  • Accurately prepare deli food and specialty beverage orders
  • Proactively address customer concerns and resolve issues
  • Chop, dice, slice, mix, and otherwise prepare ingredients, often with sharp cutting instruments
  • Count and weigh product; calculate basic math involving decimals and fractions
  • Visually identify unsatisfactory food product and remove it from service
  • Follow mandatory logging procedures, including but not limited to time/temperature and inventory documentation
  • Clean and maintain equipment, wares, and utensils according to safety regulations and company policies
  • Maintain coolers, dry storage, kitchen, and prep areas in a clean and organized fashion
  • Maintain site appearance standards, including basic housekeeping and cleaning tasks
  • Consistently uphold all health and safety standards
  • Comply with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations
  • Other duties as required

Education and Experience
  • Entry level position- no experience required
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred

Basic Qualifications & Physical Requirements
  • 18+ years of age
  • Reliable transportation
  • Outgoing and friendly demeanor
  • Excellent communication in English (hear, speak, read, & write)
  • Safely lift 55 lbs. and carry short distances
  • Stand and walk for 8+ consecutive hours
  • Climb a step stool, reach with arms above head, grasp with hands, bend, and crouch
  • Correctly perform functions using a touch-screen kiosk, tablet, and kitchen ordering system
  • Occasionally work in very cold temperatures, such as when stocking freezers
  • Weekend and holiday availability
  • Ability to multi-task with accuracy in a fast-paced environment
