Reports To: Choir Director
The Choir Program Assistant helps support the choir program's extracurricular activities, events, and performances. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, dependable, proactive, and enjoys working with students.
Responsibilities
  • Provide adult supervision at extracurricular events, trips, and activities
  • Help plan and coordinate activities, field trips, and special events
  • Coordinate group meals and related logistics
  • Assist with fundraising activities
  • Support concert logistics, including posters, programs, tickets, photography/videography, setup, and take-down
  • Assist with other program needs as assigned by the choir director
Schedule
This is a flexible, stipend-based, non-hourly position. Responsibilities may occur at various times depending on the choir calendar, including occasional mornings during the school day, the director's prep period, after-school activities, and evenings or weekends for performances and events. The schedule will vary throughout the school year.
Qualifications: Strong organizational and communication skills, reliability, initiative, and the ability to work positively with high school students. Musical experience is helpful but not required.
