Job Purpose and Impact
The Associate Marketing Manager - Cocoa and Chocolate North America will support the execution of the marketing strategy and annual plans for theGourmet and Retail Confectionery Industry (RCI) businesses. . In this role, you will apply knowledge of the business, market, customer drivers and cocoa and chocolate product offerings to inform customer driven marketing initiatives that accomplish business and financial goals.
This role will collaborate closely with the Senior Marketing Manager, Cocoa and Chocolate North America, as well as the CCNA business and sales teams.
Key Accountabilities
  • Support the execution of the marketing strategy and annual plans for Cocoa and Chocolate North America, incorporating brands, product categories and customer segments as relevant and in alignment with broader business objectives.
  • Partner with the Senior Marketing Manager, broader marketing teams and sales teams to execute product or category promotional programs, campaigns and other marketing activations in alignment with budgets and relevant competitive, customer and market dynamics.
  • Collaborate with the Cocoa and Chocolate sales team to understand and apply customer needs, competitor intelligence, market trends and consumer behaviors to improve positioning, strengthen customer engagement and advance customer value capture.
  • Execute initiatives related to innovation, new product development, co creation of customer solutions and product commercialization to maintain the health and growth of the Cocoa and Chocolate portfolio.
  • Support new product, service or solution launches as measured by key performance indicators, collaborating across commercial and technical functions to optimize customer engagement and demand generation.
  • Lead or support initiatives to improve customer experience for Gourmet and RCI custoemrs, developing and activating differentiated customer value propositions.
  • Develop and deliver relevant marketing trainings, events and collateral on Cocoa and Chocolate products, categories and customer segments.
  • Support trade shows, customer events and industry activations as needed, partnering with marketing, sales and cross-functional teams to ensure effective planning and execution.
  • Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of four years of related work experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in marketing, product management, category management or commercial roles within food, ingredients, confectionery, bakery, cocoa, chocolate or related industries.
  • Experience supporting customer-facing marketing initiatives, sales enablement, product launches, trade shows or industry events.
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work across marketing, sales, technical and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to translate customer needs, market trends and business priorities into actionable marketing plans and materials.
  • Demonstrated work experience with strong communication, project management, and organizational skills.

Position Information
  • This position is located in Wayzata, MN.
  • This position is hybrid and requires to be on site and minimum travel based on business need.
  • This posting will expire on June 10, 2026.
  • The expected salary for this position is $90,000 - $105,000. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
