Job description

As a machine operator you are responsible for loading and unloading parts and material to and from our machines, inspecting parts, packing, labeling, house keeping and more in this position.Responsibilities (Include but are not limited to):Operate assigned machinery throughout shiftMaintain product creation within designated cycle time at all times Communicate with leads and/or supervisors of any discrepancies or assistance needed Package finished product according to instruction; assure finished product meets quality and specificationsCorrect/separate good/bad products consistently Assemble finished product, if neededPromote and exercise safety by using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow all safety policies and procedures while in the plant Maintain cleanliness of area around assigned machine by picking up trash, sweeping, vacuuming, etc. Assemble boxes to be used during shift and/or next shiftFollow all health and safety regulationsAssist cell leads in relieving operators for breaksOccasionally train new operators on assigned machines, as needed Requirements:Bilingual (English & Spanish) is a plusExperience in working in production setting a plus, but not required (training provided)Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or moreMust be able to sit and/or stand for the entire shiftMust be 18 years of age or olderMust have your own reliable transportationMust be authorized to work in the United StatesMust be flexible and able to work extended shifts and/or weekendsSchedule: Monday - Friday, 6:45am - 03:15pm (May have to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed)Compensation:$13.50/hourPhysical Demands: The description below is intended to describe the general content and requirements for the performance of this job but is not limited to: While performing the duties of the job, the employee may be required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell.
