Workers in these roles are often responsible for cleaning and preparing metal, concrete, or other materials by chipping away excess or damaged sections. Chipping is commonly used in construction, shipbuilding, and manufacturing to ensure surfaces are smooth, clean, and ready for further processing or painting.
