Cowboy Jack’s Saloon in Altoona, Wisconsin, is seeking top notch experienced bartenders who fit our reputation as the BEST of the Chippewa Valley! You’ll love our lively atmosphere, our large indoor bar, our outdoor patio bar, and strong crowds each day including our popular happy hour and late night happy hour seven days a week (voted BEST in the Chippewa Valley in the VolumeOne Reader Poll for 4+ years). If you like to have fun at work and be rewarded for your skills and friendly personality, this is the place for you. Must be available to work weekends.

Cowboy Jack’s Saloon is located on the banks of the Eau Claire River in the fast growing River Prairie development in Altoona.

Requirements:

ACCOUNTABILITIES 

  • Ability to work as part of a team in high stress situations and a fast-paced environment with accuracy and a positive attitude. Thinking on your feet, adaptation, and flexibility is key. 
  • Provide superior customer service to create amazing experiences which often exceed guest expectations. 
  • Salesmanship of Drink and Menu items. Knowledge of standard menu and updating items according to customer requests. Ensuring recipe standards are met and fulfilling order requirements correctly. 
  • Utilizing tools and equipment available.  
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with customers, team members and management. 
  • Assist in stocking, organizing product, condiments, and ice machine.  
  • Notifying manager of potential inventory needs.  
  • Maintain health and food safety standards. Ensure that the bar is properly cleaned and sanitized.  

QUALIFICATIONS 

Availability 

  • Available for a flexible schedule and weekends. 

Education/Knowledge 

  • Hospitality experience and 1+ years as a Bartender 
  • Proficiency in computer programs. Programs used at Cowboy Jacks include Focus, Margin Edge, Chow Now, Eat Street, and 7 Shifts 

Experience/Skills 

  • Must have 1+ years’ experience as a Bartender 
  • Wisconsin Responsible Beverage Server Course and Bartender License  
  • Excellent customer service skills and verbal communication
