Medical Receptionist - Norwood & Norfolk Locations
Eye Care Specialists is seeking a friendly, dependable, and organized Medical Receptionist to join our team. This position will work at both our Norwood and Norfolk offices.
Responsibilities:
  • Greet and check in and out patients
  • Answer phones and schedule appointments
  • Verify patient demographics and insurance information
  • Collect copayments
  • Assist with referrals and patient messages
  • Communicate professionally with patients, providers, and staff
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements

Qualifications:
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask in a busy medical office
  • Dependable, professional, and comfortable working as part of a team
  • Previous medical office or receptionist experience is preferred but not required
  • Experience with electronic medical records and insurance verification is a plus
