Teaching Responsibilities:
  • Lesson planning and preparation before each class.
  • Monitor attendance and keep up-to-date records and paperwork.
  • Deal with problems and emergencies should they arise.
  • Work effectively with our teachers to deliver excellence in the student learning experience.
  • Attend teacher meetings to develop curriculum and lesson plans.

Job Requirements:
  • Keywords: passion & work authorization.
  • Enthusiastic, confident, and energetic about working with all language levels.
  • Have the ability to create a positive learning environment.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and punctual.
  • Knowledge of communicative language teaching techniques for adults and young learners.
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese โ€“ spoken and written.
  • Knowing traditional Chinese or Cantonese is a plus.
  • Proper work authorization permitting work in the U.S.

Plus:
  • A degree is important, but we believe more than that.
  • Prior teaching experience is preferred but not necessary.
  • Knowing a Chinese dialect.
  • Fluency in another language is always a plus.
  • Computer skills are preferred. Only knowing how to use a blackboard and chalk is also fine.
