Job description

Summary: The Sales Representative - Cabinets is responsible for driving sales growth and margin expansion for MSI's cabinet product lines within an assigned geographic territory. This role focuses on developing strong relationships with dealers, fabricators, kitchen & bath (K&B) partners, builders, and designers by providing product expertise, sales support, and consultative solutions that meet customer needs.
Work Hours: Monday to Friday from 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM, 2 Saturday(s) a month from 09:00 AM to 01:30 PM

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to complete the following essential duties and responsibilities:
  • Develop, maintain, and grow relationships with existing and prospective customers within the assigned territory
  • Promote and sell MSI cabinet products by educating customers on styles, finishes, configurations, and applications
  • Train customer showroom and sales staff on MSI cabinet offerings to ensure effective product presentation and sales conversion
  • Understand market trends, customer needs, and competitive products to position MSI cabinets effectively
  • Manage cabinet displays, samples, and sales tools to ensure availability and proper presentation at customer locations
  • Provide pricing, prepare quotes, discuss credit terms, and support the preparation of sales agreements
  • Estimate delivery timelines based on knowledge of MSI distribution and logistics schedules
  • Analyze sales reports and performance data to identify growth opportunities and potential new accounts
  • Utilize marketing materials such as catalogs, brochures, and vendor collateral to expand market reach
  • Research customer demand and territory performance to develop targeted sales strategies
  • Investigate and resolve customer concerns related to orders, deliveries, returns, or credits in collaboration with internal teams
  • Attend trade shows and industry events as needed.
  • Willing to travel up to 90%, with most travel being local and occasional overnight trips.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Additionally the candidate must meet the following Education and/or Experience requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Must possess a valid driver's license
  • Previous sales experience is a plus
  • Industry experience is required (Cabinets)
  • Strong math skills for calculating discounts, interest, commissions, percentages, area, and volume.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to work independently and in teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM platforms preferred.
  • Strong communication, presentation, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
