About the Company: We are looking for passionate Children's Clothing Designer


Location: Howell, NJ (Hybrid) Contract (Temp to perm)



Responsibilities:


  • Take provided design concepts and develop them into full fashion sketches and style lines.
  • Translate conceptual direction into completed garment designs that reflect brand identity and aesthetics.
  • Add thoughtful, creative detailing—including trims, embellishments, fabric suggestions, and construction ideas.
  • Prepare clear technical drawings and specifications suitable for production.
  • Collaborate with our team to refine designs and ensure feasibility.
  • Assist with revisions, improvements, and garment development as needed.


Qualifications:

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating experience in children’s fashion or contemporary apparel (preferred but not required).
  • Ability to take a concept and elevate it through design execution.
  • Proficient in fashion illustration, digital sketching, and technical flats (Adobe Illustrator or similar).
  • Deep understanding of garment construction, fabric behavior, and production requirements.
  • Highly creative, detail-oriented, and self-directed.
  • Reliable with strong communication and the ability to meet deadlines.


Pay range and compensation package: Freelance/project-based with potential ongoing work. or PTE Compensation based on experience and project scope.
