Job Summary
Do you LOVE kids? Do you LOVE Jesus? Then I've got an exciting opportunity for you to make a big impact. Amazing Prep Academy is a faith-based, high quality preschool at Amazing Church in McKinney. We are looking for qualified Toddler Teachers who have a passion for Early Education and want to make a difference in the lives of young children.
You are passionate about learning and helping students reach their potential while learning about God's love. With strong creative and problem-solving skills, you love connecting with individual students and creating an engaging classroom environment.
Responsibilities
  • Use lesson plans with A Beka and Learning Beyond Paper Curriculum unique by age for best developmentally appropriate learning
  • Plan children's learning & skill growth through observation and assessment
  • Take responsibility of your specific classroom space to create nurturing and stimulating environment leading to tremendous pride in your accomplishments
  • Communicate to parents regularly, using our Engage App on your classroom ipad, about their child's progress
  • Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment
  • Make every day FUN for your kids and yourself!
  • Assist children with developing social and emotional skills
  • Use a range of instructional methods and learning techniques
Skills, Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Teach from a Biblical Worldview
  • Previous experience working with young children in a preschool or childcare setting
  • Strong understanding of early childhood development principles and best practices in education and classroom management
  • Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelines
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to use engaging and interactive lesson plans
  • Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
  • Ability to work collaboratively with directors, colleagues, parents
