Job description

About Procare

For over 30 years, Procare Solutions has been dedicated to empowering early childhood educators by providing products and services that enable them to focus on the care, safety and education of children.  We recognize the responsibility that comes with nurturing and educating children, which is why our child care management solutions are designed to automate business processes, help ensure safety and compliance, communicate with families and provide educational resources and training to help teachers and children thrive.

Over 40,000 satisfied customers have chosen Procare Solutions as their trusted partner in providing exceptional care for young minds.

A Little About the Role

As an Implementation Manager, you will serve as the primary owner of the customer implementation experience, guiding customers from contract execution through successful onboarding, product adoption, and long-term readiness for success. You will partner closely with customers to understand their business objectives, configure solutions that align with their operational needs, and drive measurable implementation outcomes through proactive project management, consultative guidance, and education. This role requires balancing multiple customer engagements while managing timelines, mitigating risks, removing implementation barriers, and ensuring customers are positioned to realize value from their investment. Success in this role is measured by your ability to build trusted customer relationships, deliver exceptional implementation experiences, and achieve key business outcomes through strong execution and customer advocacy.

What you'll do:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor throughout the customer implementation lifecycle.
  • Manage a portfolio of concurrent customer implementations while ensuring projects remain on schedule, within scope, and aligned with customer expectations.
  • Lead customer kickoff meetings, establish implementation plans, define project milestones, and communicate timelines and responsibilities.
  • Configure software solutions based on customer business requirements and implementation best practices.
  • Deliver consultative training that enables customers to confidently adopt and utilize Procare solutions within their organization.
  • Guide customers through change management by helping them transition existing processes into the Procare platform.
  • Proactively identify implementation risks, customer concerns, and project roadblocks while developing appropriate mitigation plans.
  • Monitor customer progress and engagement throughout the implementation process, taking ownership of customer outcomes and overall implementation success.
  • Build strong relationships with customer stakeholders through consistent communication, transparency, and proactive follow-up.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Customer Support, Technical Services, Product Management, Customer Success, and other internal teams to ensure seamless customer experiences.
  • Document customer interactions, implementation progress, project milestones, and risks within company systems.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to successfully manage multiple customer implementations simultaneously.
  • Exceptional customer relationship management skills with the ability to establish credibility and build trusted partnerships.
  • Demonstrated consultative approach focused on understanding customer business needs and recommending best-practice solutions.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to identify risks, solve complex problems, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional implementation experiences.
  • Demonstrated accountability, ownership, adaptability, and professionalism.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across multiple departments.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn and apply new software platforms and technologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, Information Systems, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years' of experience in SaaS implementation, software onboarding, customer success, project management, technical consulting, or customer-facing software delivery.
  • Experience managing customer relationships throughout the implementation lifecycle with ownership of customer outcomes.
  • Demonstrated experience leading customer meetings, delivering software training, and managing implementation projects.
  • Experience working within CRM platforms, project management systems, and customer success technologies.
  • Experience implementing SaaS software solutions preferred.
  • Knowledge of Head Start, Early Head Start, or early childhood education operations is strongly preferred.
  • ChildPlus product knowledge is preferred but not required.
  • Project Management, Customer Success, or Implementation certifications are considered a plus.
