Our center is a licensed childcare facility dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can thrive. Located in Woodbridge], our center serves families with infants through school-aged children and is committed to excellence in early childhood education.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate, experienced, and organized Childcare Director to lead our center and ensure the highest standards of care, education, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of early childhood development, and the ability to manage day-to-day operations efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the childcare center
  • Ensure compliance with Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) licensing and safety regulations
  • Hire, train, and supervise teaching and administrative staff
  • Implement educational programs and curricula
  • Maintain strong relationships with families and staff
  • Manage budgets, enrollment, and facility maintenance
  • Ensure a safe, healthy, and inclusive environment for all children
Qualifications:

  • Must meet Virginia state requirements for a Childcare Center Director (e.g., CDA, Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education or related field)
