  1. High School Diploma or GED required; college level coursework preferred.
  2. Applicant must demonstrate a level of knowledge and/or experience appropriate to the position.
  3. Ability to interact effectively with diverse groups of students, staff, parents, and community members in a professional manner.
  4. Ability to follow oral and written instructions with limited supervision.
  5. Ability to adjust and adapt to a multitude of situations in a school environment.
  6. Ability to effectively delivery lesson plan(s) while maintaining classroom management.
  7. Ability to effectively communicate in English (read, write, speak). Bi-lingual substitute candidates desired.
  8. Ability to demonstrate the following core values: integrity, high expectations, commitment, respect, dedication to teamwork and passion for student centered environment.
  9. Ability to perform the following actions with full range of motion and manual dexterity: bending, moderate lifting, twisting, carrying and moving objects, and reaching.

  11. Favorable criminal background check (CBC) for the candidate(s) offered employment required. CBC fee to be paid by the applicant.
  12. Favorable child protection registry check for the candidate(s) offered employment required. There is a $14.00 fee that is paid by the applicant.
  13. Tuberculin test required. There is a fee that is paid by the applicant.
  14. Participation in direct deposit required.
Rates:
As per State compensation guidelines: Instructional Para $120.41 per day.
