GENERAL OVERVIEW:
Provides professional nursing care to patients through the nursing process; responsible for the assigned educational components.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Implements staff training, educational programs, and other AHNCI initiatives. (25%)
- Serves as clinical liaison for QI/EBP initiatives, regulatory preparation, and EMR facilitation. (25%)
- Precepts new hires to the AHNCI. (25%)
- Provides expert direct nursing care to complex patients. (10%)
- Contributes to the achievements of departmental, divisional, and organizational goals. (5%)
- Demonstrates effective written and oral communication skills with collaborative feedback to clinical services. (5%)
- Other duties as assigned. (5%)
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or relevant experience and/or education as determined by the company in lieu of bachelor's degree
- Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
- Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
- Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
- Current State of PA RN licensure OR Current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
- CPR certification
- 3 years of assigned clinical specialty area experience
- 3 years of computer experience
