This position is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility and a work-life balance that is often challenging in the mental health field. While you will be working from home, you will be part of a supportive outpatient office environment that encourages collaboration and engagement among providers. • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients presenting with mood disorders and a range of mental health issues.
• Collaborate with clients to develop and implement tailored care plans that address their specific needs and goals.
• Provide psychoeducation and resources to clients and their families, empowering them to manage mental health challenges effectively.
• Work alongside psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive treatment that promotes holistic well-being.
• Stay current with evidence-based treatment modalities and engage in ongoing professional development to enhance clinical skills.

In this role, you will primarily serve adult clients, many of whom may struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health disorders. Our demographic is diverse, reflecting different backgrounds and life experiences, thus requiring a culturally competent approach to care. Your expertise and empathy will be essential in building trusting therapeutic relationships that facilitate client progress.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field is required.
• Possession of an active New York State license, such as LCSW, LMFT, or LMHC, indicating your professional readiness to practice.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills are crucial for effectively supporting clients and collaborating with the multidisciplinary team.

We prefer candidates with at least two years of experience in the mental health field, ideally within an outpatient setting. Familiarity with behavioral health practices and evidence-based treatment modalities will be beneficial. Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems, teletherapy platforms, and crisis intervention protocols is also advantageous.
