In this remote role, you will work closely with a supportive network of colleagues who are passionate about child and adolescent mental health. Utilizing modern telehealth technology, you will engage with patients in a flexible setting that allows you to address mental health concerns effectively from the comfort of your home office. This position primarily operates Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts based on patient needs.

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to establish a comprehensive understanding of the child's or adolescent's needs, family dynamics, and psychosocial background.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that reflect both developmental considerations and the unique circumstances of each patient.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and other methodologies, to help young individuals navigate their mental health challenges.
• Facilitate family therapy sessions aimed at empowering parents and caregivers with tools and strategies to foster a supportive environment.
• Collaborate with our child psychiatry team to create a cohesive treatment plan, ensuring that medication management and therapeutic strategies are aligned.
• Offer crisis intervention during emergency situations and provide urgent support for acute mental health episodes involving young patients.
• Educate both patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and local community resources to enhance understanding and support.
• Maintain thorough documentation of patient interactions and care plans, ensuring compliance with all legal, ethical, and confidentiality standards.
• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities to continue enhancing your expertise.
• Stay updated on the latest mental health research, emerging best practices, and relevant advancements in child and adolescent psychiatry.

This role focuses on supporting children and adolescents grappling with a spectrum of mental health disorders, ranging from anxiety, depression, and ADHD to more complex behavioral issues. Our therapy sessions are designed to be engaging and therapeutic, allowing young individuals to express themselves freely and work towards improved emotional health.

• A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New York.
• A minimum of two years of relevant, post-licensure work experience is preferred.
• Robust knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment methodologies.
• Proven experience in providing individual and family therapy to young populations.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for the development of trusting relationships with patients and families.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage documentation and administrative tasks efficiently.

• Experience in a remote work setting, particularly delivering therapy through telehealth platforms.
• History of working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team setting.
• Background in crisis intervention techniques and procedures.
• Participation in continuing education and training related to child and adolescent mental health.

The salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
