• Conduct patient assessments and develop tailored treatment plans to address specific mental health and family dynamics.
• Provide individual therapy sessions and family counseling, using evidence-based therapeutic approaches to support patients in navigating life's difficulties.
• Conduct developmental evaluations for children, identifying their mental health needs and providing appropriate interventions.
• Provide crisis intervention services, using skills to de-escalate situations and ensure patient safety and well-being.
• Plan and lead training sessions that educate clients, social workers, educators, and other mental health professionals about effective therapeutic methods.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

You will work primarily with children and families facing challenges such as addiction, chronic pain, depression, anxiety, and gender issues. This role requires a nuanced understanding of family dynamics and a compassionate approach to foster healing and resilience in high-risk populations, ensuring that every child and parent feels heard and supported.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Active and valid California state license to practice as a LMFT.
• Strong knowledge of child development principles and effective parenting strategies.
• Understanding of issues related to prenatal substance abuse and its ramifications for child development.
• Proficient in crisis intervention techniques and the ability to manage sensitive situations with professionalism and care.

• Experience working with high-risk children and families, particularly in community health settings.
• Familiarity with parent-child intervention strategies and collaborative family dynamics.
• Background in addressing chronic mental health issues, including substance abuse disorders.
• Proficiency in developing and delivering informative workshops and training sessions.

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 120,000 to 130,000 per year, commensurate with your experience and the caseload managed.
