Chief Operating Officer Instructional Empowerment exists to transform teaching and learning so every student has access to rigorous, engaging instruction that prepares them for success in school and life. We partner with school districts across the country to improve instructional practice, strengthen leadership, and produce measurable gains in student achievement.

Our work is driven by a bold purpose; helping schools eliminate achievement gaps and break cycles of generational poverty by improving the quality of Tier 1 instruction.

Today we are a mid-size company with approximately 100 employees serving districts nationwide. Tomorrow, we intend to become the premier partner for instructional transformation in K-12 education.

    Qualifications

    Required

    • 10+ years of progressive executive leadership experience.
    • Experience leading multiple functional departments.
    • Demonstrated success scaling a growth-stage organization.

    • Strong strategic planning and organizational execution skills.
    • Experience implementing operating systems such as Agile, Lean, OKRs, Scaling Up or similar frameworks.
    • Exceptional communication and coaching skills.
    • Strong analytical and data-driven decision making skills.
    • Experience in growing professional services and software integration companies.
    Preferred

    Experience in one or more of the following:
