Job description

Weekend Security Officer (First Shift)

Unarmed Security Officer (Elkhart, IN)Schedule: Sat & Sun, 7am–3pm (additional shifts as needed)Pay: $15.50/hour

Requirements:

  • Good penmanship and documentation skills
  • Security/patrol experience
  • Availability for additional shifts

Role: Provide security services focused on observing, reporting, and documenting activity at assigned sites. Monitor surveillance, patrol inside/outside the facility, enforce post orders/site rules, and respond to incidents and emergencies.

Key Duties:

  • Monitor and report activity, suspicious persons/behavior, hazards, and maintenance issues
  • Conduct foot patrols and vehicle/truck yard inspections as assigned
  • Maintain DARs and complete detailed end-of-shift incident reports
  • Log inbound/outbound traffic and verify delivery paperwork per site procedures
  • Follow policies/procedures and assist associates with security-related needs
  • Provide client-focused customer service and perform emergency response per site rules
  • Contact site supervision/field management as required by post orders
